Hey iQOO Fam! 👋

Yashita here! Let's talk about something that goes beyond our tech—taking care of ourselves! Ever wonder why a "miracle" product works for your friend but does nothing (or even makes things worse) for you? The secret isn't the product; it's knowing your skin type.

This is the most important first step to building a routine that actually works. Let's figure it out together in Part 1 of our 3-part skincare series!

The 4 Main Skin Types: Which One Are You?

Most of us fall into one of these categories. See which one sounds like you:

  • 💧 Dry Skin: Feels tight, especially after washing. Can sometimes be flaky, rough, or look dull.
  • ✨ Oily Skin: Looks shiny or feels greasy, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin). You might notice larger, more visible pores.
  • 🌗 Combination Skin: The most common type! It's a mix of both—an oily T-zone but normal or dry cheeks.
  • 😊 Normal Skin: Well-balanced, not too oily or too dry. Pores are not very visible, and the skin texture is smooth.

(There's also Sensitive Skin, which can apply to any type. It gets red, itchy, or irritated easily when using new products.)

The Easiest Way to Find Out: The Bare-Faced Test

  1. Cleanse: Wash your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry.
  2. Wait: Don't apply any products (no moisturizer, no serum, nothing!). Wait for about 30-60 minutes.
  3. Observe: Go look in the mirror. How does your skin feel and look?
  • If it feels tight all over, you likely have dry skin.
  • If you see shine on your forehead, nose, and chin, you have oily skin.
  • If it's just shiny in the T-zone but your cheeks feel fine or tight, you have combination skin.
  • If your skin feels comfortable and balanced, you're one of the lucky ones with normal skin!

Knowing this is a game-changer because now you can choose the right products.
