Quick Share now works with iPhone (AirDrop-style!) 🤝

No more awkward file transfer moments when an iPhone user is nearby. Google is updating Quick Share to work cross-platform — Android to iPhone, seamlessly.

For phones that support direct compatibility, it works like AirDrop. For others, Quick Share generates a QR code that transfers files via cloud instantly. Simple and clever.

Quick Share is also expanding to apps — WhatsApp support is coming soon. 🙌

Switching from iPhone to Android just got easier 📲

Google worked directly with Apple to redesign the iOS-to-Android migration process. The new wireless transfer now moves over passwords, photos, messages, contacts, favourite apps, homescreen layout, and even eSIM data. That last one is huge — no more carrier calls just to switch phones.

RCS messages between Android and iPhone are now end-to-end encrypted 🔒

With 2.5 billion RCS messages sent daily, this is a significant privacy upgrade. Secure messaging is no longer just a same-platform luxury.

Now here's the exciting part for us — vivo X300 Ultra is already on the supported devices list for Quick Share cross-platform compatibility. Given how closely iQOO and vivo share flagship hardware, it's very likely the iQOO 15 gets this too — hopefully sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed! 🤞
