iQOO's supposedly inaugural Pad is also now tipped to launch as an Android tablet with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus (or 9000+) SoC. The platform might give the first-gen slate an edge over its potential rivals from OnePlus or even iQOO's own parent company Vivo. On that note, it may also stand to boast a (nearly) unique aspect-ratio and a display with a top refresh rate for its category.

Some consumers in the market for a new tablet and who are drawn to the OnePlus Pad for its distinctive features just might be advised to hold off to see if a new version really does come out courtesy of iQOO as rumored. Furthermore, this one could be the one to base a buying decision on thanks to a slight edge in terms of processing.

iQOO is now slated to have borrowed the up-to-date tablet design in question from its parent Vivo for this purpose, yet may improve on the freshly-launch Pad2 with the  Dimensity 9000+ SoC, rather than the 9000 of that slightly older slate.

Accordingly, tablet fans might soon be able to choose a new iteration of the fast-emerging 144Hz/7.5 display type (along with the equally distinctive round rear camera hump), albeit probably with a different, possibly more spee-themed, paint-job to go with its  slightly upgraded silicon. The "iQOO Pad" might also be able to look forward to a minimum of 44W charging and Android 13 out of the box.
