The M kidney finished in Black high-gloss, with BMW Iconic Glow and M lights Shadow Line give the BMW M5 Touring an unmistakable appearance.

The athletic silhouette with elegantly stretched Touring proportions characterises the BMW M5 Touring and clearly identifies it as a high-performance model developed by BMW M.

Sport M roof spoiler.

When viewed from the side, the distinctive character of the new BMW M5 Touring is accentuated by the elegantly stretched roofline and a model-specific roof spoiler.

Style M Light-alloy wheels.

Sporting presence with exclusive design: the 20 and 21-inch M light-alloy wheels double-spoke 952 M bi-colour Black. The wheels are combined with high-performance tyres as standard.

Ambience M specific lighting.

Individually coordinated, the ambient interior lighting creates an exclusive, visual experience in M colours – on all five seats.

Leather M steering wheel.

A newly designed M leather steering wheel in three-spoke design with a flat-bottomed rim, decorative stitching in BMW M GmbH colours and a red 12-o’clock marking brings extra intensity to the racing car feeling in the BMW M5 Touring cockpit.

Individual M multifunction seats.

The wide range of electric adjustments of the M multifunction seats enhance both the race-car feeling and comfort over longer journeys. Metallic Merino leather trim – specially developed for the new BMW M5 – is used for the first time. Furthermore, the exclusive M upholstery in Kyalami/Black has active seat ventilation.

Light Panoramic glass sunroof.

The optional panoramic glass sunroof extends in a single section from just behind the windscreen deep into the rear of the vehicle. This floods the interior with light and gives the exterior an even more elegant appearance. An electrically operated roller blind is on hand to provide interior shading.

The electrified drive system powering the BMW M5 Touring adheres to the same principle as the drive system in the BMW M Hybrid V8 endurance racing machine. It enriches the driving experience on board the high-performance Touring with another sprinkling of fresh ingredients. As with the introduction of eight- and ten-cylinder engines, turbocharging and the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system in earlier model generations, so the new plug-in hybrid system represents a new dimension in hallmark M performance. The latest-generation electric motor integrated into the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission brings an immediacy to the power delivery of the BMW M5 Touring.
