Amazon India is expanding the reach of its AI shopping assistant ‘Rufus’ by rolling it out to desktop users—giving shoppers even more convenience ahead of the Prime Day Sale from July 12 to 14.
Originally launched in India in August 2024 (mobile-only), Rufus is now accessible via the Amazon website on PCs and laptops. The assistant helps users:
✅ Ask natural language queries
✅ Compare products and find best deals
✅ Get personalized recommendations
✅ Receive buying tips & follow-up responses
✅ Input via text or voice (output remains text-based)
🧠 Rufus is powered by Amazon’s internal AI models and designed to simplify your shopping journey—whether you're searching for a new phone, home appliance, or a last-minute Prime Day steal.
📍You’ll find Rufus on mobile as a sparkle icon in the corner, while desktop users will see it integrated into the main site experience. It’s still in beta, but Amazon says it’s committed to enhancing the tool for real-time support.
Whether you're a casual shopper or a deal hunter, Rufus is here to make your Prime Day smarter, faster, and more intuitive. 🎯
🛍️ Ready for the 3-day sale extravaganza? Let Rufus do the heavy lifting!
