💥 What Are Duelists?

• Valorant defines Duelists as self-sufficient fraggers.
• They're built for taking fights, getting kills, and making space for the team.

Riot's official description:

Duelists are self-sufficient fraggers who their team expects, through abilities and skills, to get high frags and seek out engagements first.

Basically, if you want to entry frag (be the first into the fight),

Duelists are your go-to!

🎮 Key Traits of Duelists

• High-damage potential
• Aggressive playstyle
• Self-healing or mobility tools to win 1v1 fights
• Designed to secure the first pick in a round
• Often top fraggers on the team

But remember:

Duelists are NOT team utility players.

Your job is to frag out, not to sit back!

🔫 Meet the Duelists

Here's a quick intro to every Duelist in Valorant as of 2025:

JETT 🌪️

• Specialty: Extreme mobility, fast entries
• Dash in and escape fights quickly
• Aerial angles with Updraft
• Great for players with sharp aim who love high-risk plays

REYNA 👁️

• Specialty: Self-sustain through kills
• Can become invisible or invulnerable after frags
• Great for carrying lower-ranked games
• Dominates 1v1s but struggles without kills

RAZE 💣

• Specialty: Explosive damage
• Rocket Launcher ultimate (Showstopper)
• Movement with Blast Pack satchels
• Perfect for chaotic, aggressive plays and clearing tight spaces

PHOENIX 🔥

• Specialty: Self-healing and flashes
• Curveball flashes to blind enemies
• Can heal himself with fire abilities
• Ultimate (Run It Back) gives him a second life

YORU 🌀

• Specialty: Mind games and teleportation
• Fake footsteps to trick enemies
• Teleport across short distances
• Ultimate makes him invisible for flanks

ISO ⚔️ 

• Specialty: Shielded duels
• Can isolate enemies for a private fight
• Creates a bulletproof barrier temporarily
• Built for confident aimers who want guaranteed 1v1s

NEON ⚡

• Specialty: Speed and high-tempo entry
• Sprint faster than any Agent
• Slide to dodge bullets or surprise enemies
• Electric wall and relay bolts for area denial
• Great for players who love constant movement

WAYLAY 🪄✨

• Blinding speed, hindering effects, and mobility
• Refract ability that can dodge enemy instantly while in use 
• Disrupting enemy movement and executing rapid repositioning plays
