I just watched **“Saiyaara”**, directed by Mohit Suri, and I have to say, it really sticks to the formula he’s known for—romance, heartbreak, and a strong musical vibe.

What really worked for me was the chemistry between the two leads, **Ahaan Panday** and **Aneet Padda**. Even though they’re both newcomers, their pairing felt very natural and believable on screen. I thought Ahaan came across as confident for his first film, and Aneet really impressed me—she’s got a lot of charm and handled her role beautifully.

One of the best things about the movie is definitely the music. Just like in Suri’s other movies, the songs here are soulful and really help carry the emotions of the story. If you’re someone who enjoys a good romantic soundtrack, you’ll probably love it.

That said, the story itself feels a bit predictable. If you’ve watched any of Mohit Suri’s earlier films or other Bollywood romances, you’ll probably see some of the twists coming from a mile away. The first half of the film felt a little slow to me, but I thought it picked up nicely after the interval.

As for audience reactions, I noticed some people absolutely loved it—calling it a blockbuster and praising how fresh it feels for younger viewers. Others found it a bit overhyped or “cringe,” especially if they were looking for something new in terms of storytelling. Personally, I’d say it’s perfect if you enjoy Bollywood love stories with strong music and on-screen chemistry, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking plot-wise.

On a positive note, it’s totally fine to watch with family—no explicit scenes or anything like that.

Overall, I’d rate “Saiyaara” around

     3.5 out of 5

I enjoyed it for what it is—a classic Mohit Suri romance with a strong musical backbone. And I think both leads have a bright future

ahead of them!
