The upcoming iQOO Battlegrounds Series — a major Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament — just got a lot more exciting with the official reveal of its tournament format and prize pool distribution.Slated to kick off on July 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM IST, the series promises not just intense gameplay, but also big stakes with a whopping ₹1 Crore prize pool up for grabs.Backed by iQOO India, and organized in partnership with NODWIN Gaming and Trinity Gaming, this high-octane competition will be streamed live on the iQOO Esports YouTube channel, giving fans across the country front-row access to every headshot, clutch, and chicken dinner moment.
The structure of the tournament is designed to ensure both elite and emerging teams get their shot at glory. A total of 32 teams will be competing in the tournament, including:

Group Stage
Dates: July 21 to July 24, 2025
Format: All 32 teams will compete, likely divided into 4 groups of 8.
Advancement: The top team from each group (total of 8) will directly qualify for the Grand Finals.Remaining teams (positions 9th–32nd) will move into the Semi-Finals.
The tournament has been divided into two groups - Group A and Group B, each packed with powerhouse teams, rising stars, and strategic lineups ready to clash on the battlegrounds.

Teams: 24 teams compete (those that did not qualify directly from the Group Stage)
Advancement: Top 8 teams from the Semi-Finals will advance to the Grand Finals, joining the 8 pre-qualified teams.Elimination: Bottom 16 teams will be knocked out of the tournament.
Grand Finals
Dates: August 8, 9, and 10, 2025
Location: LAN Finale in Delhi (venue TBA)
Teams: 16 final teams (8 from Group Stage + 8 from Semi-Finals)This stage will determine the ultimate champions of the iQOO Battlegrounds Series.
