Hey everyone,
I'm facing a super frustrating issue with my new IQOO Neo 10(256Gb variant) and wanted to check if anyone else is going through the same or has a fix.
Basically, whenever I make or receive a call, the network drops from 5G to 4G, and stays stuck on 4G unless I manually toggle it back to 5G. Even during the day, without any call activity, it randomly switches to 4G on its own. 😩
Now this wouldn’t be that big a deal if it didn’t mess up my work — but during important Google Meet calls, the switch to 4G means slower internet, poor video quality, and sometimes even call drops. It’s really messing with my workflow.
Here’s the kicker — I’ve been using the same SIM card in the same locality for a long time. On my old iQOO Z7 Pro, I never had this issue. 5G stayed rock solid throughout. So I’m 100% sure this is not a network or SIM issue — it’s either the phone or the software.
Honestly, I’ve spent a good amount buying this phone. I was okay compromising a bit on things like camera or speaker quality because I expected at least stable 5G performance, which is such a basic expectation nowadays. And this is where it’s failing!
So my questions:
Is anyone else facing this issue?
Any temporary fix or workaround?
Has the brand acknowledged this problem or mentioned an OTA fix?
I really hope the brand looks into this and releases a patch/update soon. This shouldn’t be happening in a phone of this range in 2025.
Appreciate any help or suggestions 🙏
Thanks in advance!
