THQ Nordic Showcase 2025: SpongeBob, Wreckreation To Wreckfest 2, All You Need

Whether you're a long-time fan of Gothic, a Darksiders devotee or just a player who loves good deals, The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2025 has announced something for everyone.

From new trailers to masterful remakes of cult classics, you can choose what suits you best.


The titles announced at the showcase are : 


SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide

THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp bring Bikini Bottom back with a fresh 3D platformer adventure. The egos of King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman have collided and ghostly mayhem engulfs the underwater world. SpongeBob and Patrick must join forces, merge their special skills, and bring order back. SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide will be available soon on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.


Wreckreation

Wreckreation, from the creators of Burnout gives players a chance to create their own racing universe, as it puts players in a huge 400 km² sandbox environment called MixWorld. You can create your own tracks, install stunts, personalize vehicles, manage weather and traffic and race alone or with friends. It's a playground for creativity developed for speed.


Tides of Tomorrow

Set in the submerged world of Elynd, Tides of Tomorrow is an adventure where a dangerous plastification threatens all life. Players must explore floating platforms, gather resources and make choices that affect not only their story, but the stories of friends or other players in real-time. Every decision counts in this shared-world RPG.


Wreckfest 2

The sequel to cult favorite Wreckfest is larger, quicker and much more chaotic. With its completely rebuilt physics engine, Wreckfest 2 brings brutal demolition, adrenaline-fueled stunt racing, wrecking challenges and a dynamic career mode. Launching in Early Access, the game will also include mod support, additional arenas and skill-based multiplayer matchmaking.


Sacred 2 Remaster

The legendary action RPG is back with improved graphics, enhanced combat and full support for controllers. Explore Ancaria again as one of the six distinct heroes, complete innumerable quests and relive all of the original expansions. Revisit a classic or jump in for the first time, this remaster has loads of content and nostalgia waiting for you.


The Eternal Life of Goldman

This 2D hand-drawn platformer is a mix of dark fairy tales, mythologies and emotional storytelling. Players are on an unique task to locate and slay a deity that no one has ever seen. With beautifully designed environments and exact platforming, The Eternal Life of Goldman provides a creative and unforgettable adventure full of twists.


Titan Quest II

Now in Early Access, Titan Quest II takes players back to ancient Greece, where the goddess Nemesis has broken fate and unleashed mythological horrors. With handcrafted worlds, rich loot systems and mastery-based class system, this action RPG is crafted by the makers of SpellForce 3 and challenges players to write their own legends.



The Guild - Europa 1410

Inspired by the original Europa 1400: The Guild, this immersive dynasty sim challenges players to grow from a modest trader to a powerful political figure in a living medieval city. With professions, dynamic politics and up to 12-player multiplayer, every decision shapes your family's legacy in this detailed historical game.



Gothic 1 Remake

The cult classic RPG is back with enhanced graphics, updated combat and extended questlines. Players revisit the Valley of the Mines once again as the Nameless Hero in a dark, faction-torn world. The remake stays true to the original's tone and narrative, and both vets and newbies will be eager to play it.



REANIMAL

From the makers of Little Nightmares comes a chilling co-op horror game. A sister and brother have to navigate through a nightmare-infested island in order to look for their missing friends, battling grotesque creatures and nightmarish memories. Play alone or in co-op, and learn the mysteries of an elegantly broken world rich in atmosphere and fear.


Fatekeeper

An action RPG in first-person that combines fierce melee with robust spellcasting. Fatekeeper takes players across ancient battlefields and mystical woods as they unearth relics, build their characters and make decisions that shape the world. With a beautiful handmade world and strategic gameplay, it's an exciting new fantasy adventure.


Darksiders 4

THQ Nordic concluded the showcase with a concise yet forceful tease: "And the number of the riders shall ever be four" Darksiders 4, the action-adventure set in an apocalyptic version of earth, continues where the original Darksiders game left off. No other information was given, but fans can now officially count the next installment of the Horsemen series.
