Sometimes, when you open an unknown link or scan a QR code, such spy apps can be installed on your phone without your knowledge.
Is your phone being secretly monitored? Cyber fraud through digital means has increased so much that the National Cyber Security Department is repeatedly warning about malware. Various apps are installed from the Google Play Store. Among them, there are some apps in which fraudsters install malware. Unknowingly, fake software can be installed on the phone through those apps. And once that happens, all personal information can be in the hands of hackers in an instant.
Sometimes, even when you open an unknown link or scan a QR code, such spy apps can be installed on your phone without your knowledge. If these apps are on your phone for a long time, they can cause danger from time to time.
1) Be careful if your phone's battery drains too quickly. This could be because a spy app is secretly collecting data.
2) If your phone gets too hot even when you're not using it, you should be careful. This means that a program is running in the background.
3) If your internet data usage increases unexpectedly, it could be due to spy apps. These apps use your data to send information to hackers.
4) If you hear any clicking sounds, echoes, or unusual noises during a phone call, it may be a sign that your call is being recorded or tapped.
5) If you see an app on your phone that you didn't install, or if you repeatedly see unnecessary ads while browsing, you should understand that malicious software has entered your phone.
6) If the phone repeatedly turns off by itself or the phone system runs slowly, you need to be careful.
Go to your phone's settings, then go to Apps and then Application Manager to check the list of apps. If you see any apps with strange names, delete or uninstall them.
Go to Settings > Privacy and from there go to Privacy Manager to see which apps have permission to use the microphone, camera, location or other data. Those apps should be removed from the phone.
Go to Google Play Store, click on your profile icon and click on the 'Play Protect' option. This will show you if there are any spy apps on the phone.
