Genshin Impact Ending Support on PS4: What You Need to Know 🎮🚫

Genshin Impact will be removed from PS4 due to hardware limitations and the increasing platform application size. Here’s everything you need to know about this big change:

Key Dates 📅:

  1. Sept 10, 2024: The PS4 version will be removed from the PlayStation Store. If you haven't downloaded it by then, you won’t be able to access it, but existing users can still redownload it from their library. ⬇️
  2. Feb 25, 2026: In-game purchases will be delisted from both the PlayStation Store and in-game store for PS4 users. 🛒🚫
  3. April 8, 2026: End of support for the PS4 version! After this date, no more updates and you won’t be able to log in to the game on PS4 anymore. 🛑

Why is This Happening? 🤔


The decision comes down to Genshin Impact’s growing size and hardware demands. As the game continues to evolve with new content and features, the PS4’s hardware is struggling to keep up. MiHoYo wants to ensure the game’s performance and future-proofing for newer platforms like PS5, which can handle the increasing demands. 🚀🔧


What About PS5 & Other Platforms? 🎮


Don’t worry! The PS5 version and other platforms like PC, mobile, and Nintendo Switch will continue to receive full support and regular updates. So, if you're on one of those platforms, you're all set for the latest content! ✨


What Should PS4 Players Do? 🕹️


MiHoYo recommends PS4 users to start transitioning to PS5 or other supported platforms soon! 🌟 Your progress will carry over, so no worries about losinng your hrd-earned achievements. 🔄
