The HoYoverse RPG is gearing up for its biggest update of the year, with just a few weeks remaining until the debut of the first playable corner of the Snezhnaya region. Genshin Impact has shown off plenty of details about Nod-Krai already ahead of its launch, including a wide array of characters, several locales within Nod-Krai, and hints about the region's story. Now, two more playable characters from Nod-Krai are being teased.
Following the launch of Version 5.8, HoYoverse officially unveiled multiple characters coming to Genshin Impact as part of Nod-Krai's launch update. Version 6.0 will add a trio of new characters to the game's roster, with Lauma, Aino, and Flins all expected to make their playable debut throughout the update. Previous leaks have even suggested that players will be receiving a free five-star character during Version 6.0, likely gifting a copy of a character from the game's standard banner. A new leak is now giving some more hints at a pair of future characters from Nod-Krai.
A post shared to the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit provides some early information about upcoming Nod-Krai characters Jahoda and Linnea. The post begins by giving a major hint about the tentative release date for Jahoda, suggesting that she will make her playable debut during the Version 6.2 update. Rumored Adventurer's Guild advisor Linnea is also mentioned within the post, teasing her as a four-star Dendro character within Genshin Impact's roster. Genshin Impact will officially add the Nod-Krai region on September 10, while Jahoda's release in Version 6.2 is expected for early December.
While fans of Jahoda will be waiting a bit for her playable debut, Genshin Impact fans may not have to wait as long to meet her in-game. Recent leaks have suggested that Jahoda will appear within Genshin Impact's story during Version 6.0, alongside fellow future characters Nefer and Columbina. Jahoda was also one of the characters featured in the initial character reveal for Nod-Krai, said to be a "legendary bounty hunter" within the region. Linnea has yet to be officially shown by HoYoverse, though she is mentioned within Ineffa's voice lines.
Genshin Impact's newest region launch looks to be packed with a plethora of exciting content beyond its new playable characters. HoYoverse recently revealed its new "UGC Gameplay System," giving fans the opportunity to create their own game modes, "survival challenges," and lots more using Genshin Impact's engine. Genshin Impact will also be making plenty of in-game quality-of-life upgrades with the region's release, including some significant improvements to the game's Battle Pass. Version 6.0 and Nod-Krai's release are set to bring the next evolution of Genshin Impact.
