BGMI Masters Series - The Format Breakdown

The tournament is a grueling, month-long marathon of skill and strategy, running from August 18th to September 14th, 2025. The path to the Grand Finals is an intense gauntlet with multiple stages designed to find the truly best teams.

League Stage: (August 18th - September 7th)

• 24 invited teams will compete over 21 matchdays.
• A total of 84 matches will be played, with each team competing in 56 matches.
• The Top 4 teams from this stage will directly qualify for the Grand Finals.
• Teams ranked 5th to 12th (8 teams) will advance to the Semi-Finals.
• The Bottom 12 teams will be sent to the Playoffs

Playoffs: (September 9th)

• This is a high-stakes, one-day battle featuring 16 teams.
• 12 teams from the League Stage will be joined by 4 teams from the Challengers Series.
• After 4 intense matches, the Top 8 teams will advance to the Semi-Finals, while the remaining 8 teams will be eliminated.

Semi-Finals: (September 10th - 11th)

• 16 teams (8 from the League Stage and 8 from the Playoffs) will clash over two matchdays.
• After 8 matches, the Top 12 teams will secure their spot in the Grand Finals, with the bottom 4 teams being eliminated.

Grand Finals: (September 12th - 14th)

• The tournament culminates in a three-day, 12-match finale.
• The 4 direct qualifiers from the League Stage will be joined by the 12 teams from the Semi-Finals.
• The team that dominates this final stage will be crowned the BGMI Masters Series Season 4 Champion!

Unprecedented Scoring Rules: Powerplay and Bonus Points

This season introduces a unique scoring system designed to reward aggressive and smart gameplay.

• Powerplay: Teams will earn double points for every elimination secured within the first phase of a match. This rule will force teams to engage early and guarantees action right from the start.
• Impact Player: Exclusively on weekends, teams can designate one player as an "Impact Player." Any finish secured by this player will also earn double points for their team.
• Bounty: Between August 21st and September 7th, teams can earn a massive 10-point bonus for eliminating any of the top four teams in the League Standings. This rule adds a thrilling layer of strategy and high-risk, high-reward plays to the competition.
