Champions Paris Qualification

By Stage 2 rules, BLG and DRG qualified directly to VALORANT Champions 2025 (Paris) as the top two finishersliquipedia.netesportsinsider.com. In addition, two more Chinese teams earned spots via Championship Points: EDward Gaming and XLG Esports (each finishing top in the yearly points race). Esports Insider notes that“all four Chinese representatives were locked in”after the Lower Bracket Quarterfinalsesportsinsider.com. In summary, China's representatives at Champions Paris will be:

  • Bilibili Gaming (BLG) – 1st seed (Stage 2 champ)esportsinsider.com
  • Dragon Ranger Gaming (DRG) – 2nd seed (Stage 2 runner-up)thespike.gg
  • EDward Gaming (EDG) – 3rd seed (points)
  • XLG Esports (Xi Lai Gaming) – 4th seed (points)esportsinsider.com

Each of these teams had strong showings in 2025, but Bilibili Gaming in particular appears most formidable. BLG capped Stage 2 by dethroning the long-time Chinese powerhouse EDward Gaming –“becoming the second team to snatch a VCT China trophy”from EDGesportsinsider.com. Their play was characterized by aggressive, high-frag duelist usage (whz on Raze/Neon, rushia on Viper, etc.) and strong team coordination. Analysts noted BLG's win“signals a new era”for the squad, with confidence“soaring”as they head to Paris thespike.gg. In contrast, Dragon Ranger showed moments of brilliance (e.g. Akeman's play on Sunset) but had uneven results. The stat dominance of BLG's roster (multiple players above 200 ACSvlr.gg vlr.gg versus DRG's single high-LC 212 ACS) and the 3-1 Grand Final win suggest BLG may be the stronger contender.

Ultimately, all eyes will be on Bilibili Gaming and Dragon Ranger Gaming as China's representatives in Paris – with BLG likely favored after this Stage 2 victory thespike.gg esportsinsider.com. Both teams, however, join other global qualifiers, and their detailed performance at Champions will be eagerly watched by the VALORANT community.
