India-Korea-Japan Invitational to Follow BGMI Showdown 2025

In a landmark move for the Indian esports scene, Krafton is set to host an India-Korea-Japan Invitational tournament. This new international event will take place immediately after the conclusion of the BGMI Showdown 2025 (BMSD), with the winner of the Invitational earning a coveted spot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025.

The India-Korea-Japan Invitational will feature a massive prize pool of ₹1 crore. The competition will bring together the top 8 teams from India, who will battle it out against four teams from Korea and four teams from Japan. This tournament is an extension of the previously announced BGMI Showdown 2025, which itself offers an international slot to its champion.

This initiative provides a significant boost for Indian teams, giving them a second chance to qualify for the global stage. Since BGMI operates as a separate entity from PUBG Mobile due to regional regulations, Indian teams have historically had limited opportunities to compete internationally.

The India-Korea-Japan Invitational and the BGMI Showdown will change this, offering a clear path for India's best to prove their mettle against top-tier international squads.

This announcement also follows the success of the India vs. Korea Invitational in 2023, showcasing a continued commitment to fostering international competition for the BGMI community. As the excitement builds for both the BGMI Showdown and this new Invitational, all eyes will be on the Indian teams as they vie for global recognition and the chance to represent their country on the world stage.
