Hope you’re all doing great! ✨
A fresh month is here wishing everyone a happy and prosperous September. And what better way to kick it off than by sharing my amazing experience at the Gaming Thiruvizha held in Chennai!
As a Ranger, I had the privilege of attending this prestigious event, and in this thread,
I’ll take you through everything that happened at the iQOO Team Tamilas booth one of the liveliest spots at the festival.
I reached the venue around 11 AM and was blown away by the sheer crowd for a gaming event.
Thanks to iQOO, I had a VIP pass that saved me from the long queues. Once inside, I headed straight to the iQOO Team Tamilas booth, where I was welcomed warmly.
I also had the chance to meet Mr. Vadiyar, the founder of Team Tamilas, who greeted me with refreshments and a short but very insightful conversation. It was the perfect start to the day.
The booth was buzzing with energy as fans participated in different challenges:
Push-up challenge 💪
Singing challenge 🎤
Face expression contest 😜
Hammer strength game 🔨
Winners walked away with exciting iQOO goodies, which kept everyone motivated and entertained.
On top of that, there were mini-tournaments for Free Fire and BGMI, where fans showcased their skills and even received exclusive iQOOxTT caps and T-shirts.
One thing that really stood out was seeing so many iQOO flagship and Neo series users actively participating at the booth. It was amazing to watch them compete using their devices and proudly represent iQOO in Chennai.
I also interacted with several gamers, introduced them to the iQOO Connect Community, and was thrilled when some of them joined on the spot.
It felt rewarding to bring more people into our growing family.
Another highlight was the fan meet-and-greet session at the booth. Popular creators like Paru Gaming, Previous Gaming, Striker, Manty, Raven, and even founder Mr. Vadiyar were present. Fans queued up eagerly to get autographs on certificates and jerseys, and the atmosphere was electric.
For many, it was a dream come true moment—meeting their inspirations in person after years of seeing them online. I spoke with a few attendees, and they all agreed this was the best part of the festival.
Personally, I felt the same—it was special to stand under one roof with both creators and fans sharing the same passion.
Before leaving around 6 PM, I received my goodies from Team Tamilas. When Mr. Vadiyar asked me for feedback, I simply said one word—Perfect. That’s how much I enjoyed the day.
What makes this event even more significant is that it was hosted in collaboration with the Sports Department of the Tamil Nadu Government—a strong sign that esports is being recognized seriously in Chennai.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at the iQOO Team Tamilas booth, and I’m proud to have been part of it. A big thanks to the iQOO Connect Community, iQOO Esports, and Team Tamilas for giving me this opportunity.
Stay tuned—I’ll be posting a separate thread soon about my overall Gaming Thiruvizha experience .
