I am Kalpataru Mohanty writing this thread to remind you to clean your USB port of your smartphone. USB charging port is one of the important thing in our phone and no matter how much protective case we use dust will settle inside the port.

Here are some ways to prevent dust from getting into your smartphone:-

1. Keep your phone away from dusty areas. If you work in dusty areas then you should invest in anti-dust plugs or a phone case with built-in port covers. These will prevent dust from entering the ports.

2. If dust has already been settled inside the charging port then you should visit respective Service Center to clean. They will professionally clean it without damaging the charging port.

Disadvantages of not cleaning USB port

1. It will lead to slow charging.

2. It can damage the USB port permanently leading to expensive repairs.

Note:- I am not suggesting you guys to clean USB port by any sharp objects like toothcleaner or safety pins as it will damage the USB port.
