Marvel Rivals has given players a fresh look at a new legendary costume for the hero Angela, who will be added to the title's ever-expanding roster with the launch of Season 4 on September 12. In addition to Angela, Marvel Rivals fans can look forward to playing the iconic hero Daredevil later on in Season 4.
NetEase Games recently revealed that Marvel Rivals will be coming to PlayStation 4 alongside the launch of Season 4, bringing the popular hero shooter to a whole new audience. Rumors about a possible PlayStation 4 port have been swirling around the internet for quite some time, with many fans hopeful that they would soon be able to experience the title for themselves.
Some gamers have expressed the desire to see the hero shooter come to other platforms as well, like the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 2. As of writing, there hasn't been any official word about additional ports.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a closer look at what they can expect to see when Marvel Rivals' Season 4 update goes live on September 12. In addition to releasing the new hero Angela, who will fill the role of Vanguard, players will be treated to fresh cosmetics in both the battle pass and the in-game store. Perhaps most notably, Angela will be receiving a new legendary costume called Skuld 2099.
The outfit gives Angela a futuristic appearance, with a visor covering a large portion of her face. In addition to sporting some technology, Angela can be seen with white and purple hair, a color scheme that bleeds into her overall aesthetic.
In addition to adding Angela to the popular hero shooter, NetEase Games has announced that it will be adding Daredevil to the title's roster later on in Season 4. While many fans were excited to hear about the addition of the iconic street-level hero, some people were disappointed with his reveal.
From what can be seen, Marvel Rivals' version of Daredevil might embrace the mystical side of the setting's lore, which would be very different from how he has been portrayed in other films and television shows.
While NetEase Games has announced that it could bring original characters into Marvel Rivals, some fans disagree with how many liberties it seems to be taking with existing heroes like Daredevil.
