Hey Questers,
Long exposure photography is all about capturing movement and time in a single frame. Instead of freezing a moment, you let your camera’s shutter stay open longer to create dreamy effects like light trails, silky water, or star trails.
1. Use a Tripod – To avoid camera shake during long exposures.
2. Set a Low ISO – Reduces noise for cleaner images.
3. Small Aperture (High f-number) – Keeps more of the scene in focus.
4. Shutter Speed – Experiment with 1–30 seconds or even minutes for stars.
5. Remote Shutter or Timer – So you don’t shake the camera when pressing the button.
Traffic Light Trails in the city
Smooth Waterfalls with milky flow effect
Star Trails at night for a magical sky
Fireworks or Lightning to capture the energy
Use ND Filters in daylight to avoid overexposure while using slow shutter speeds.
