PUBG Mobile 4.0 Update Brings Super Smooth Graphics. Check out the detailed information about the tech fixes.

The long-awaited PUBG Mobile 4.0 Update is here, and it’s bringing a wave of performance upgrades designed to make every match smoother, faster, and more efficient. From higher frame rates to reduced lag and lightning-fast downloads, V4.0 focuses on delivering a next-level gaming experience to players worldwide.

PUBG Mobile 4.0 Update: Super Smooth Graphics

One of the biggest highlights of V4.0 is the global rollout of the Super Smooth graphics setting, which was previously limited to beta tests on select devices. Now, everyone can enjoy a more stable frame rate and less lag no matter what device they’re on.

🔹Medium: 25 FPS → 30 FPS

🔸High: 30 FPS → 40 FPS

▫️Ultra: 40 FPS → 50–60 FPS

High-end devices: Expanded support for 90 FPS and 120 FPS

Turn on Super Smooth by heading to:

Settings → Graphics → Customize → Super Smooth

or Settings → Graphics → Better Frame Rate → Enable Super Smooth

Even if your device doesn’t show higher FPS options, you’ll still benefit from more consistent gameplay, reduced overheating, and lower battery drain.

Reduced Lag, Heat, and Power Use

The update isn’t just about speed—it’s about efficiency. Thanks to optimizations in terrain rendering, memory allocation, and texture streaming, players can expect a much smoother experience overall.

Lag Reduction: 10–30% lower on most devices, up to 50% lower with Super Smooth enabled.

Better Temperature Control: Devices run 1–2°C cooler on average, up to 4°C cooler with Super Smooth. Less overheating also means fewer frame drops caused by throttling.

Lower Power Consumption: Improved graphics engine results in 10% less CPU/GPU usage and up to 7% less power drain, extending your play time.

Nobody likes waiting for updates—and V4.0 makes sure you won’t. Thanks to smarter downloading systems and resource compression, game updates are lighter and significantly faster to install.

Download Speed Boost: 50–100% faster on average compared to early 2025, with some devices seeing up to 200% faster downloads.

Android Update Savings: The V4.0 update file is 50–150 MB smaller than the previous version (V3.9) for new installations.

For competitive players, this update could mean fewer missed shots due to lag, more stability in heated firefights, and longer sessions without overheating. For casual players, it’s all about smoother graphics, less stutter, and shorter downtime during updates.
