Fortnite has a lot of content for players to enjoy. Updates are released every two weeks with fun new features and weapons. Skins and fun cosmetics come out on a daily basis, whether they rotate into the Item Shop, are given as quest rewards, or as part of an event. The main modes – Battle Royale, Fortnite OG, Fortnite Festival, and LEGO Fortnite – have their own Battle Pass that players can purchase and complete.
While the game is free, many of these features require V-Bucks, Fortnite's currency. Even if players have saved up V-Bucks over time from leveling up the Battle Pass, it can get pretty expensive, especially if players like to shop for in-game cosmetics. One of the best ways to have access to a lot of the additional content in Fortnite and earn 1,000 V-Bucks every month is to get the Crew Pack, a subscription that provides goodies on a monthly basis.
Many fans would argue that the Crew Pack is a great deal for those who play Fortnite regularly, and it seems that it could get even better soon. In a recent survey, Epic Games asked Fortnite players which features would be appealing to them if they were added to the Crew Pack benefits. The list consists of basic stuff, such as more cosmetics, to awesome, almost shocking, benefits, like being able to claim previously unclaimed Battle Pass cosmetics.
If players were given a chance to unlock cosmetics and styles from previous Battle Passes, the number of active Crew Pack subscriptions would undoubtedly rise. Even if this was exclusive to passes that the players previously owned, it would still capture fans' attention, as it'd give them the opportunity to claim high tier skins or secret skins that they weren't able to unlock, as well as Super Styles that they might've missed out on, as these are some of the hardest rewards available in the Battle Pass.
Another teased possibility was the Crew Pack being bundled up with another subscription service. With the recent collabs between Epic Games and Disney, they could sell the Crew Pack alongside a month of Disney+ for example. It is unknown if any of these features will ever see the light of day, but it's good to know that Epic Games wants to continue to improve Fortnite's monthly subscription to ensure that players believe it to be worth the price.
