  • Mechanism: Gun-type fission weapon 🔫
  • First-ever atomic bomb used in war ⚡

💣 Nagasaki Bomb – “Fat Man”

  • Type: Plutonium-based ☢️
  • Mechanism: Implosion-type fission bomb 💥
  • More complex but more powerful than Little Boy.

🔹 Developed Under:

The Manhattan Project – USA’s secret program for nuclear weapons research during WWII.

🔹 Impact:

The bombings caused massive destruction 💔, leading to Japan’s surrender and bringing World War II to an end.
