Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has officially unveiled the release date for its Daima Character Pack 2 DLC, along with the heroes and villains that will be added to the fighting game's roster. With three Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC expansions already released, this fourth entry will mark the end of the announced characters for the game's Season Pass.

At the time of its launch in October 2024, there were more than 180 playable characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Although many of those fighters were different versions of the same character from across the anime franchise's history, that number still made it the biggest roster of any game in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series by far, and the addition of 20 additional fighters contained in the first three DLC packs has already pushed the roster size over 200.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Daima Character Pack 2 Characters

Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan 4

Goku (Daima) Super Saiyan 4

Vegeta (Daima) Super Saiyan 3

Majin Duu

Third Eye Gomah

Giant Gomah

As revealed in a new trailer, the DLC is scheduled for release on September 24. However, early access players will be able to dive in 72 hours early, with the new characters playable on September 21 at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET. While the first set of Dragon Ball Daima DLC characters released for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero contained eight new roster additions, this second set only comes in at six. Fans hoping to play as Goku in his Super Saiyan 4 form will have two new options, as his Mini and Daima variants will both be included. Vegeta's powerful Super Saiyan 3 Daima form will be there as well.

As for the villains, both Third Eye Gomah and Giant Gomah will be joining the roster, bringing the now dethroned Supreme Demon King to the game with a couple of different options for players to choose from. Along with Dragon Ball Daima's central villain, fans of the series may also be excited to step into the role of Majin Duu, the frightening yet childlike combination of the innocent Majin Buu from Dragon Ball Z and a Saibaman. Duu served as an antagonist for most of Daima's run, but his eventual alliance with Goku and friends makes him an interesting roster pick.

The other two character packs that were originally announced brought other characters from Dragon Ball Daima and the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie, but a surprise drop in June also added mobile game Dragon Ball Legends' protagonist Shallot to the roster. Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco have announced no plans for a second season pass for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, so there's a chance these six upcoming characters may be the final ones added to the game.
