iQOO announced that the iQOO 15 e-sports performance technical communication meeting will be held at 14:30 on September 23, with the theme of being “cross-generation leading” and “challenging new peaks in e-sports performance.” At the same time, iQOO officially opened reservations for the iQOO 15 across all channels.
At this event, the company will unveil its self-developed Gaming Chip Q3. According to sources, the chip will debut full-scene ray tracing in Genshin Impact, with sources sharing two real test comparison images showing the difference with ray tracing on and off
Previously, even Apple failed to bring full-scene ray tracing to Genshin Impact, but iQOO’s Q3 chip has managed to achieve it first. Tests confirm full-scene ray tracing effects during ultimate moves, exploration, and dungeon runs. Combined with the previously revealed top-tier 2K display, the visual experience is maximized, delivering gaming performance that surpasses Apple’s.
Meanwhile, the iQOO 15’s Geekbench benchmark scores also drew attention, surpassing all tested Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices in multi-core performance, and even outperforming the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s highest multi-core score.
According to Geekbench, the iQOO 15 model V2505A achieved 3,824 points in single-core and an impressive 12,402 points in multi-core performance, while Apple’s best multi-core score stood at 11,000.
In terms of design, the official iQOO product poster reveals details of the iQOO 15’s rear camera module. It appears to feature a circular rear camera design with a modest protrusion and RGB lighting. From performance to aesthetics, the iQOO 15 positions itself as a true modern gaming smartphone.
