If you couldn’t watch September's State of Play showcase live, here’s a recap of all the big game announcements, release dates, trailers, and other highlights from Sony’s latest stream.
Marvel's Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games showed off, officially this time, gameplay from its Wolverine game for PlayStation 5. We see Logan both in street clothes and in his iconic yellow costume (with the mask), plenty of gore and violence, and X-Men characters like Mystique, Omega Red, and a big ol' Sentinel. Marvel's Wolverine is slated for a fall 2026 release on PS5.
Developer Housemarque gave us an extended look at gameplay from its next game, Saros — and it looks like a fresh new spin on bullet-hell third-person shooting action, in the vein of Returnal.
