I hope this post finds everyone well. As a proud owner of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, I've been loving the performance and features this beast of a phone has delivered since day one. Launched with Android 13 and Funtouch OS 13, it came with a solid promise of 2 years of major Android updates and 3 years of security patches, which we've appreciated through the smooth rollouts to Android 14 and 15.

Now, with Android 16 on the horizon and the exciting shift from Funtouch OS to Origin OS 6 for Vivo and iQOO devices, I'm reaching out with a humble request. Historically, when brands transition to a new OS skin—like this move to Origin OS—they often extend support to recent flagship and mid-range models from the previous generation to ensure a seamless ecosystem experience. The Neo 7 Pro, being a powerhouse from just a couple of years back, still feels incredibly relevant with its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, vibrant AMOLED display, and all-day battery life.

Providing Android 16 based on Origin OS 6 to the Neo 7 Pro would not only honor the spirit of that transition but also keep loyal users like us engaged and secure in the iQOO family. It would breathe new life into the device with Origin OS's rumored refinements in customization, AI features, and smoother animations—making it future-proof for at least another year or two.

What do you all think, fellow Neo 7 Pro owners? Has anyone heard whispers of expanded update lists for this shift? iQOO Team, we'd be over the moon if this could be considered—perhaps as an optional beta or full OTA for eligible devices.
