Hello, everyone!

Let's understand FPS in a smartphone.

When you watch a video, play a game, or scroll through your phone, smoothness matters. That's where FPS (Frames Per Second) comes in.

FPS simply refers to how many frames (individual images) your phone displays in one second.

The higher the FPS, the smoother the visuals.

  • 30 FPS → Standard, used in most videos.
  • 60 FPS → Smoother, common in modern smartphones for videos, apps, and some games.
  • 90/120/144 FPS → Ultra-smooth, usually found in gaming and high-end smartphones, perfect for competitive gaming and buttery-smooth scrolling.

In short, FPS = smoothness. A higher FPS doesn't just make content look better—it also improves responsiveness, especially in gaming.

So next time you see your phone specs flaunting “120Hz refresh rate” or “120 FPS gameplay,” you know it means smoother, faster, and more immersive visuals.

That's all for this thread!
