BSNL Launches WiFi Calling Feature (VoWiFi)

BSNL has introduced a new feature that lets users make voice calls even without mobile network coverage using a WiFi connection instead. 📶💬

🔹 What’s New:

This feature, called VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi), allows BSNL customers to make and receive calls through a stable WiFi or broadband network when cellular signals are weak or unavailable.

🔹 How It Works:

Your phone connects to the internet via WiFi, and the call is routed through BSNL’s network — just like a normal mobile call. No additional apps are needed.

🔹 Availability:

•Currently rolling out in selected circles (mainly in southern and western India).

•Works on smartphones that support WiFi Calling / VoWiFi.

•BSNL is not charging any extra fee for using this service.
