Hi

I recently bought iQoo Neo 10R. On hardware front there is nothing in the market that can compete with this device (maybe Poco X7 Pro) but on software front this device falls short on multiple front.

I have been using ColorOS, HyperOS, OneUI & finds the FuntouchOS to be quite lacking. Sometimes this lacking is in terms of features but mostly it lacks in terms of intuitiveness.

Things aren't implemented in the most natural manner.

Given OriginOS is approaching, I would love to see some of these improvements in my 10R at the very least.

♦️Camera Quality needs to be improved. Selfie camera is way too soft & processing isn't upto the mark.

♦️The vibration feedback is lackluster. Haptics have to be tuned more & implemented in more places.

♦️The lockscreen customisation needs to be enhanced & should be made available by long pressing on lock screen (when the adware lock screen magazine is turned off)

♦️I know Vivo is still one of the brands that kept widgets alive but most of the widgets are starting to show their age. All widgets needs to be enhanced & made to be enhanced or reduced in size.

♦️Option to uninstall all first & third party bloat & disable unnecessary system apps (by unnecessary I mean those without with system can function smoothly, so I can disable them to make system lite for them).

♦️Widgets tab, though somewhat useful, feels so Android Jellybean. This option should just be hidden under long press homescreen & settings instead of upfront on app drawer.

♦️Side bar should have option to either 1 column or 2 columns based on user preferences

♦️AI features are just not present even though device is not that old. Not asking for hi-fi AI features just the basic ones. Those should should also be clubbed at one place for easy access.

♦️I don't understand why someone hasn't complaint about this but the system alarm & ringtones are just bad. There is no good alarm tone.

♦️People need a good multifunctional file manager app which I couldn't find on my device. I have to download Google Files which sucks at quite a few things but one of the only non-OEM one that's half decent.

♦️Calculator is dated & no where near the calculator apps of other OEMs in terms of functionalities

♦️EasyShare just doesn't work & I have to rely upon old school techniques for setup.

♦️Give option to hide every icon that's showing in the app drawer. Some icons can not be hide with App Hide option. Improvement is needed there.

♦️ The device is current setup on navigation buttons. Sadly the central home button also co-incides with the place of fingerprint sensor. I know the sensor can not be changed now, so alter the buttons placement a little to make room for both things (atleast during when sensor has also to be used).

Well these are the things that came to my mind at this instance. I have found many more minor inconveniences that I would prefer seeing them resolved to enhance the user experience but that's a thing for another time.
