📄 Bug Report Draft — iQOO Neo 10 Wi-Fi & App Installation Issues
Subject:
Wi-Fi app connectivity failure and slow app installation on PD2453EF_EX_A_15.0.11.0.W30
Device model: iQOO Neo 10 (PD2453EF_EX)
Software version: PD2453EF_EX_A_15.0.11.0.W30
Region: India
Network: JioFiber (5 GHz and 2.4 GHz tested)
Issue 1 — Apps not working on Wi-Fi
Several apps such as OLX, YouTube, Instagram, Prime Video fail to load or show “no internet” when connected to Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi icon shows Connected, and other apps (like Chrome) may still work.
The same apps work instantly when switched to mobile data.
Issue appears on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Issue 2 — Apps take very long to install
From the Play Store, downloads complete normally but the “Installing…” step hangs for 20 – 60 seconds or longer.
The same app installs instantly when Wi-Fi is turned off (using mobile data).
Steps to reproduce
Connect to JioFiber Wi-Fi (5 GHz).
Open Play Store → install any app → observe long “Installing…” delay.
Switch Wi-Fi off → use mobile data → installation finishes immediately.
Open OLX / YouTube → notice they fail to load on Wi-Fi but load instantly on mobile data.
Troubleshooting attempted
Reset network settings and rebooted both phone & router
Tried static IP, Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4), and Private DNS (dns.google)
Cleared Play Store and Play Services cache
Disabled IPv6 on router
Switched between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands
Factory reset (test clean state)
→ Problem persists until Wi-Fi is turned off.
Expected result
All apps should open and install normally when connected to Wi-Fi.
Actual result
Apps fail to load or take unusually long to install on Wi-Fi, but work fine on mobile data.
