The stage is set — Battlegrounds Mobile International Cup (BMIC) 2025 is going to be a battleground of legends, as top teams from India, South Korea & Japan clash for glory, ¥₹1 crore, and coveted PMGC slots.
The event runs Oct 31 – Nov 2, 2025.
16 teams total: 8 from India, 4 from Korea, 4 from Japan.
They will play 18 matches (6 per day).
Prize pool: ₹1 crore (≈ $112,000+).
Top 2 teams from BMIC will qualify for PMGC 2025 (one goes into Gauntlet, the other into Group Stage).
India also gets a direct invite slot in PMGC, besides these two.
The pathway is via BMSD 2025 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown).
48 Indian teams battle it out; the top 8 make it to BMIC.

In BMSD 2025, Orangutan clinched the top spot, and with that a direct PMGC slot.
These teams are already confirmed:
Korea: Dplus, NongShim RedForce, Jecheon Phalanx, DRX
Japan: REJECT, REIGNITE, Making The Road, CAG Osaka
These squads bring deep experience, international pedigree, and high expectations.
REJECT (Japan) is a powerhouse — 6-time PMJL champion, recent PMGC qualifier.
Dplus (Korea) also looks dangerous — consistent international performances, India-Korea invitational winner, past PMGC presence.
South Korea’s NS RedForce & DRX are also in the mix with strong records.
Meanwhile, Indian squads will aim not just to challenge but to prove they belong — home turf, immense pressure, and opportunity to rewrite the narrative.
Expect intense map control, rotations, and high aggression — especially from Korean and Japanese teams used to top-level meta play.
Indian teams will try to exploit familiarity with local ping, map knowledge, and the hunger to prove themselves.
The final 2 slots to PMGC will likely come down to consistency and clutch play — one or two big matches could swing everything.
It’s India’s return to the global PUBG/BGMI stage after a gap.
It provides cross-region exposure for Indian teams without needing to travel abroad.
Strengthens the competitive ecosystem, increases live viewership, and raises the bar for mobile esports in the region.
This isn’t just a tournament — it’s a clash of cultures, strategies, and aspirations. India must bring fire, Korea brings precision, Japan brings depth and adaptability. The next few days will decide who gets to walk into the global stage with confidence and who goes home with new lessons.
If Dk Reject or Og end up in #1 or #2 in BMIC the #2 of their respective region will get the PMGC Slot
For eg: If Og ends up at #1 in BMIC too then the #2 of BMSD ie. K9 will get the slot of PMGC similarly for DK and REJECT
