So, I always wanted to buy a good phone since it was my engineering's last year and everyone else was getting a good expensive phone. So, as our family is financially struggling but still my dad and mom saw my old was almost dad and i was somehow using it.
So, my dad broke his FD (which he had kept it for a new bike) to buy me a new phone, I researched whole internet and came the conclusion that IQOO neo 10 would be a best phone for me considering its price and features it was the best in that segment (32k)
that day, I had tears in my eyes, I was cloud 9, I couldn't tell you how happy I was and I was literally dying to see that phone in my hands, I wanted feel it in my hands so I ordered it via amazon, so I could get it as early as possible and I got it!
as I unboxed the phone and boot it up, the phone started heating like crazy even for normal tasks, I thought its a one time heating issue I was fine with it but then I noticed my battery was draining like crazy, like that I got 6 hrs of screen on time on full charge, I was so worried and tensed, my whole dream was shattering in front of me and I didn't even tell my parents about it or else they would've got worried to (which I didn't want them to be) so I used that phone for like 2-3 days and got to know that my piece is defective its battery isn't holding more than 7 hrs of SOT with normal use ( I don't even play games) and then that's how I got know the how does a worst service feels like.
I called customer care, they gave me fake assurance, stupid me got a relief that finally my issue will be resolved, they asked me to visit their service centre so I did, and they told me it will take 2 hrs for some software flashing and they'd reset the phone to which I agreed and waited. they said they found no software issues in to and you can take your phone home, I took that phone home even though I knew they haven't done anything and as I expected the phone's battery was same.
so I sent them emails, talked to them on whatsapp as well as on calls, they asked me to submit the phone to service centre for observation for 2 days, I kept my phone and there guess what, upon calling them to get an update they used to tell me "sir aur 2 din lagenge " "sir voh part order kiya hai thoda wait kar lejiye"
and they took 8 freaking days, I lost my work, my college things since I brought that phone as a primary device, so i kept calling their customer executive talked to their complaint team, they were just giving me fake assurances ultimately I recieved a call from their service centre and they told me issue has been resolved come to service to collect the device, I went there and they showed me a SOT of 19hrs with 33% charge still left and told me look " this is the SOT we're getting, your device has no issues"
I knew they didn't do anything and I took the phone and the phone still has battery issues and then next the complaint team reached out to me, I told them the same and guess what they started blaming it on me, " sir ap jyda app use karte hai islye ho raha hai " " apke backgound me multiple apps open rehte hai isliye" like dude merko pata hi nahi na, mera first phone hai na jese
I REGRET GOING WITH IQOO AND EVEN I REGRET VISITING THEIR SERVICE CENTRE, I would make sure my friends and my knowns don't ever buy this shitty company's phone, who doesn't even care about its customer
if you guys are considering buying this phone, don't buy this one!
get a oneplus nord 5 or even POCO f7 those are far better than this shit
