Hello Questers!

Day before was truly an awesome day for iQOO both for our global fans and especially for us here in India! As you all know, the much-awaited Origin OS has finally launched in our country, marking a huge moment for every iQOO enthusiast.

Im genuinely thrilled and couldnt resist sharing my thoughts and feelings about this incredible launch. As a proud Quester, I've experienced firsthand how the Origin OS launch made a huge impact across our community.

Before diving into Origin OS, Id like to take a moment to talk about Funtouch OS, which we've been using for so many years on our iQOO devices.

Funtouch OS has always offered a clean, minimal, and user-friendly experience. Personally, I've liked it — it's simple, stable, and easy for anyone to use. Over the years, especially with Funtouch OS 13 and 14, we've seen some great improvements and refinements that made it even better.

In fact, I believe Funtouch OS is one of the most widely used operating systems among Indian smartphone users, considering how strongly Vivo and iQOO dominate the market.

After receiving continuous feedback from community, the brand finally decided to bring the much-loved Origin OS, which was previously exclusive to China, to global users  and that's a massive move for iQOO fans worldwide.

And now, finally, Origin OS is here — and people are absolutely loving it.

It's undeniably a massive hit from iQOO, without a single doubt.

Looking back at the journey we’ve all had over the years — as Questers, Rangers, Moderators, and as part of this amazing community  it's truly been a ride full of ups and downs. But in the end, it’s our collective spirit and teamwork that made this moment possible bringing Origin OS to our country.

I'm genuinely happy that iQOO has listened to the community’s feedback, accepted the challenges, and turned them into opportunities for improvement. That’s exactly why we now have Origin OS — a system that feels powerful, smooth, and packed with features capable of competing with the best operating systems.

As a Ranger and a Quester, wherever I go, there’s always one question that keeps following me — “When will Origin OS come to India?

I’ve heard it so many times, and honestly, I understand the excitement behind it! During my visit to Malaysia’s IFM, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the iQOO internal team, and of course, I couldn’t resist asking them the same question — “When is Origin OS coming to India?”

Their reply was short but full of hope: “Anytime soon.”

That moment stayed with me. For almost two years, those words — anytime soon — kept me believing that one day, it would finally happen. Even though I couldn’t reveal anything to our users back then, I held on to that excitement silently.

And today, I’m beyond happy to say — that “anytime soon” has finally arrived.

We can now proudly experience Origin OS 6 on our devices, and it truly feels worth the wait.

I’ve actually had the chance to use Origin OS 5 before for a few months, and during that time, I often compared it with Funtouch OS. Honestly, both systems aren’t worlds apart — Origin OS feels like an evolved and more refined version of Funtouch OS, maybe just that extra half a step ahead.

Over time, I noticed that many features from Origin OS gradually started making their way into Funtouch OS, which gave me hope — a strong sign that Origin OS might eventually make its global debut. And today, that hope has turned into reality.

Through this thread, I really want to take a moment to thank every Quester out there.

I’ve seen so many of you — some praising iQOO’s efforts, some voicing frustrations about the software experience. And that’s okay — because all that honest feedback, both good and bad, helped shape iQOO into what it is today.

For a long time, the software experience was seen as a deciding factor for users before buying an iQOO smartphone. But now, with Origin OS 6, that concern has been completely neutralized — in fact, iQOO has risen to the top.

A huge thanks to the entire iQOO team  @NipunMarya     @iQOO Connect     @ShankarSingh     @Mandeep Sharma     @AnkitChaudhary @parakram_h     @ParthNirmal     for listening, understanding, and bringing this incredible OS to our country. Your efforts and our community’s voice together made this possible.

This is the perfect example of how patience, persistence, and time can create a huge impact. The dedication of users, Questers, Rangers, Moderators, and fans — all of us quietly giving feedback and showing our humble requests to the brand — has truly paid off. And in return, we received what I would call a brilliant Diwali gift from iQOO.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your tremendous support throughout the years — using Funtouch OS, hoping for Origin OS, and believing that it would eventually arrive. This wasn’t just fandom; it was a shared hope, a quiet anticipation that kept us all motivated.

To my fellow Questers, I’m writing this thread especially for you — yesterday felt like I was walking on clouds, being part of the group that has waited the longest and the hardest for Origin OS to come to India.
