While I haven't personally gotten my hands on the new iQOO TWS 1e, my dear friend Kajal recently had the incredible luck of winning a pair at the iQOO Festive Qonnect Kolkata event for being the Best Dressed Person! Naturally, I immediately pounced on the opportunity to get her first impressions and compile a comprehensive review for all of you. After spending some quality time with her and the TWS 1e, here's what we found out:

iQOO TWS 1e: First Impressions & Design

Kajal was immediately impressed by the sleek and compact design of the charging case. It's incredibly pocket-friendly and has a smooth, matte finish that feels premium. The earbuds themselves are lightweight and have a comfortable in-ear fit, which is crucial for extended listening. They sit snugly without feeling intrusive, and a quick shake test confirmed they stay put, even with light activity. Kajal mentioned the build quality felt robust, typical of iQOO's attention to detail.

Sound Quality: Punchy & Clear

This is where the TWS 1e truly shines, according to Kajal. We tested them across various genres – from thumping Bollywood tracks to crisp instrumental pieces and podcasts.

• Bass: The bass response is punchy and deep without being overpowering. It adds a good foundation to the music, making tracks feel more dynamic and engaging.
• Mids & Highs: Vocals come through clearly, and instruments are well-defined. There's a good balance, ensuring that the highs are crisp without being sibilant or fatiguing even at higher volumes.
• Overall: For their price segment, the sound quality is impressive. It delivers an immersive audio experience, making them suitable for music lovers and casual listeners alike.

Connectivity & Latency: Seamless Experience

Pairing the TWS 1e with her iQOO phone was instantaneous, thanks to Bluetooth 5.3. Kajal noted that the connection remained stable, even when moving around her apartment.

A key aspect for any TWS is latency, especially for gaming and video consumption. We put them to the test with some YouTube videos and a quick BGMI session. There was virtually no noticeable lag between the audio and video, making them excellent for multimedia consumption. While hardcore competitive gamers might still prefer wired options, for TWS, the performance was commendable.

Battery Life: Go All Day

Kajal was thrilled with the battery performance. The earbuds themselves offer a substantial amount of playtime on a single charge, and the charging case provides multiple additional charges. She easily got through an entire day of mixed usage – calls, music, and videos – without needing to plug in the case. This makes them a reliable companion for daily commutes, workouts, or long workdays.

Call Quality: Clear Conversations

We tested the call quality in a moderately noisy environment, and the TWS 1e performed well. Kajal's voice came through clearly to the receiver, and she could hear me without any issues. The environmental noise cancellation for calls seemed to do a decent job, making them suitable for hands-free conversations on the go.

Touch Controls: Intuitive & Responsive

The touch controls on the earbuds are intuitive and responsive. A simple tap or long press allows you to manage music playback, answer calls, or activate the voice assistant. It took a few tries to get used to the exact tap patterns, but once mastered, they worked flawlessly.

Verdict: A Feature-Packed Performer!

Based on Kajal's enthusiastic feedback and my own brief experience with the iQOO TWS 1e, I can confidently say these are a fantastic pair of true wireless earbuds, especially for anyone in the iQOO ecosystem. They offer excellent sound quality, reliable connectivity, impressive battery life, and a comfortable design, all packed into an attractive package.
