Hey Questers ❤️

iQOO 15 has been announced in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 7,000mAh battery, LTPO AMOLED panel, triple 50MP cameras and India launch confirmed for next month.

iQOO has unveiled the iQOO 15 series in China with a focus on performance and sustained power. The phone ships with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, a large 7,000mAh battery, an LTPO AMOLED panel and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company has also confirmed that the device will arrive in India next month and, unlike earlier models, will continue to run OriginOS instead of Funtouch OS for the India unit.

The base configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is listed at 4,199 yuan. Other models include 16GB RAM with 512GB at 4,499 yuan, 12GB RAM with 512GB at 4,699 yuan, 16GB RAM with 512GB at 4,999 yuan and the 16GB RAM with 1TB storage variant at 4,399 yuan. Official India pricing is expected at launch.

iQOO 15 Specifications

The iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K-class resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ certification and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The panel is rated for high peak brightness and uses Samsung M14 8T material. The device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. A co-developed Q3 gaming chip is included to shift some graphical and scheduling tasks away from the main SoC.

The device comes in multiple finishes and retains a squiricle-shaped rear camera island with RGB lighting for visual feedback. It draws power from a 7,000mAh cell with 100W wired charging support and 40W wireless charging. The phone integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the screen and holds IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

The rear system consists of three 50MP cameras — a primary sensor with OIS, an ultra-wide module and a 3x periscope telephoto unit with OIS. The front camera is 32MP. The handset boots OriginOS 6.0 on Android 16 and is positioned to compete with forthcoming flagships from Oppo, OnePlus and Realme. The India launch is set for next month with specifications expected to remain unchanged.
