Chhath Puja is dedicated to Surya Dev (the Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya, who are believed to sustain life and bless devotees with health, prosperity, and happiness.
It’s one of the few festivals where devotees worship both the setting and rising sun — a reminder to stay grounded, balanced, and thankful.
1. Nahay Khay – Holy dip and pure vegetarian food to start the fast.
2. Kharna – Day-long fast ending with gud-kheer and roti.
3. Sandhya Arghya – Evening offering to the setting sun with baskets of fruits and thekua.
4. Usha Arghya – Morning offering to the rising sun, marking the end of the puja.
Each day is filled with devotion, purity, and an unmatched spiritual vibe.
Chhath is a festival that unites families and communities. No matter where we are, we recreate that same atmosphere — from local ghats to terrace setups.
It’s not about show or luxury, but about faith, togetherness, and tradition.
This year, I celebrated Chhath Puja with my entire family — and it was such a wholesome experience!
We lit crackers, danced to bands and DJs, and of course, clicked tons of pictures to capture the joy. The whole neighborhood felt alive with festive lights, music, and that unmistakable Chhath energy. 🌟
