Hi everyone,
I’m an iQOO 13 user and I have not installed the OriginOS 6 Trial update yet. But after reading several discussions on the iQOO Community and Reddit, I noticed that many early testers reported issues such as battery drain, heating, reduced standby time, and occasional performance drops.
Before deciding whether I should update or wait for the stable build, I want clear inputs from fellow users and from the iQOO team.
My questions are:
1. Are these battery drain issues actually happening for most iQOO 13 users who installed the OriginOS 6 Trial?
Since I haven’t installed it myself, I’m asking based on what others have posted.
2. Are these kinds of problems normal in trial/beta versions?
Usually trial builds have bugs, but I want to know whether this is expected or something unusual.
3. Is the development team aware of these complaints?
If yes, are fixes already being worked on before the stable release?
4. Will the stable OriginOS 6 be properly optimized for the iQOO 13?
Users just want to be sure that the final update won’t negatively affect battery life or overall performance.
5. Since iQOO 15 is expected to launch in November 2025 with OriginOS preinstalled, can the company clarify that the issues in the trial version are not intentional or linked to pushing users toward a new device?
This concern is being raised because of past global incidents—for example:
People are bringing these examples up only because they want reassurance that similar practices are not happening here.
