Team Soul made a brilliant start to the CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals. The Nakul-led squad grabbed the prime spot in the overall standings after Day 1, posting 69 points. The team grabbed 44 eliminations and one Chicken Dinner in six games. Their star player, Goblin, was the top performer with 17 eliminations.Victores Sumus acquired second place with 65 points and one Chicken Dinner after their impressive performances on the opening day. Mafia from the team clinched 14 eliminations. Vasista Esports, led by Hector, was third with 47 points. The squad earned one Chicken Dinner and 31 eliminations.A total of 16 teams are contesting in the CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals in Chennai. Eight teams were selected from the semifinals, while the remaining eight were chosen from the Last Chance Qualifier. The event features a ₹50 lakh prize pool.

Revenant XSpark, led by Punk, also had a good start, as the side grabbed fifth rank with 42 points.NONX Esports was sixth with 40 points, including 24 eliminations. The Saumraj-led Team Versatile occupied seventh position with 39 points and one Chicken Dinner. Their BGMI pro NinjaJod clinched 11 eliminations in six games. Welt Esports won the first game but could not maintain consistency in the next five matches. They ranked eighth with 38 points.

Team Versatile was ninth with 38 points, including 21 kills. Blitz and Gods Reign were 10th and 11th with 29 and 24 points, respectively. True Rippers had a slow start, as the Jelly-led squad ranked 24th with 24 points.Cincinnati Kids and Autobotz finished 13th and 14th with 22 and 20 points, respectively. K9 Esports, led by BGMI pro Omega, was 15th with 16 points. Team Tamilas came 16th with 15 points.
