Today was truly special—the first-ever iQOO 15 Photowalk just happened right here in Namma Chennai, and I’m super excited to share my complete experience and recap of this unforgettable event. So let’s jump right in! 

 Why Marina Beach?

When it comes to Chennai, one place that stands out as a global icon is Marina Beach, the world’s second-longest urban beach. Anyone visiting Chennai never misses a chance to experience Marina and that’s exactly why we chose it for our Photowalk.

Great devices deserve great locations to explore, and Marina Beach is the perfect pairing for the flagship camera experience of the iQOO 15.

Exclusive Selection

– 6 Questers 

For this special Photowalk, we invited 6 top Questers from our community—photographers known for their next-level flagship mobile photography skills. They were handpicked from 70+ registrations, making the experience truly exclusive and premium.

Starting Point: War Memorial

We kicked off the Photowalk at the iconic War Memorial, near the Port of Chennai.

The session began with a warm introduction from our community team—Amit bro and Riya—and our moderators @TechSAM009    and @Sourav   .

After the introductions, the stars of the day—the iQOO 15 devices—were handed over to the Questers, and the exploration officially began!

Marina Landmarks & iQOO 15 Camera Magic

Napier Bridge

After capturing some amazing shots at the War Memorial, we headed to the famous Napier Bridge.

Known for its gorgeous structure and cinematic white design, this bridge is a favourite among Chennai photographers. Our Questers loved shooting here, and the surroundings gave them endless creativity.

Testing the Periscope Lens

To test the iQOO 15’s Telescopic Periscope Lens, we zoomed in on the All India Radio  tower, which was quite far away.

Yet, the iQOO 15 delivered stunning clarity and detail—everyone was impressed with the zoom performance!

Heritage Spots around Marina

We explored old Chennai buildings and streets around Marina. The combination of Chennai's heritage + the iQOO 15’s camera made it hard for our Questers to move on—they were fully immersed in capturing every moment.

From there, we continued to iconic landmarks:

Each location offered unique compositions, and the iQOO 15 handled all conditions effortlessly.

Sunset to Night – Low Light Performance

One of the major reasons we planned the Photowalk in the evening was to let our Questers test both daylight and night mode on the iQOO 15.

And the moment we reached the Chennai Lighthouse, the lights turned on—setting up the perfect scene for night photography.

The iQOO 15 truly surprised everyone with its excellent low-light performance, capturing sharp, vibrant shots even in challenging lighting.

Wrapping Up at KFC

After a long and exciting walk across Marina’s iconic spots, it was time to recharge!

We ended the session with a much-needed booster meal at KFC, laughing, sharing experiences, and reviewing shots together.
