You've certainly heard a lot about the Dynamic Island in the last few days; it's a standout feature of the 'Pro' versions of the new iPhone 14 series this year. The pill-shaped notch on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is used by Dynamic Island to provide consumers with more information. 

Dynamic Island: What is it?

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max's pill-shaped notch may be resized via a function called Dynamic Island. The black area can now contain more interactive information that you can tap or long press to access various features thanks to the scaling.

As demonstrated by Apple at the introduction event, the notch may be expanded to function as a kind of multitasking shortcut. It can display various indicators, such as music playing, calls that are still ringing, directions from a map, audio being recorded, and more, all of which can be expanded into smaller windows by holding down the long-press key.

Only the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max now enable the Dynamic Island feature because it is only available on the Pro variants of the iPhone 14 Series.
