Hello iQOO FAM,
Hope everybody is doing well. Just a quick reminder: you might have seen my announcement a few weeks ago for my very first RANGER event, the iQOO Connect Pickleball Smash. I'm happy to say the event, which was scheduled for today, went perfectly.
I've put together this quick recap post. I want to share how I planned the event, how the day unfolded, and capture some of those happy quester moments where our community connection really grew stronger.
When choosing the event, my goal was singular: to offer our beloved questers a fresh experience—a real break from the usual routine. A reel about pickleball and its rocketing popularity in my city caught my attention. That made me pause and start some quick research. Soon, it became clear: people are genuinely interested, and the number of pickleball courts is growing city-wide. So, why not introduce our questers to it? That's the simple journey to my choice. I picked Pickleball because it's one of the fastest-growing and most enjoyable sports in Coimbatore right now, plus, it's incredibly easy for anyone to learn.
Given the sport was new, even if trending, I felt a little skeptical about how our community questers would react. To my surprise, the registrations were overwhelming! We blew past the target mark, which meant we had to finalize the spots based on a set of criteria. I truly want to thank every single person who registered. Spots were limited, and since this was my very first event, I was focused on avoiding any hitches. It was a tough decision to select only 10 questers. But please don't worry if you registered and missed out; you are on our list and will be given priority for upcoming RANGER-led events.
Ultimately, we settled on 10 questers, and everyone came in happy and on board with the plans.
For the venue, I selected Smash Pickleball court on Avinashi Road—the city's best and most premium indoor court, situated in a prime location. Critically, it also offered trainers to teach our questers, as the game was new to most.

On the day of the event, everybody arrived at the venue, but I was a bit nervous. To be honest, I was nervous not only because the sport was completely new to ALL the people who'd registered (though some had watched videos beforehand), but also because it was my first event, and the game was new even for me.
I started with a welcome speech, briefing everyone on what the event was about, sharing the iQOO community's vision for our questers, and talking a bit about the iQOO 15.
But, here comes the surprise: after just a few trial games, everybody was already doing well with the paddle. The energy was electric, and there was tough competition, too. We played Mixed Doubles and Men's Double matches and successfully found the winners from each category.
Honestly, I was absolutely astounded by the semi-finals and finals—the competition between the two teams was fierce, going neck to neck. It was a genuinely awesome experience, watching all the questers go from barely knowing the game to playing full, spirited matches. Everyone did their best and stayed active throughout the day.
With our flagship, the iQOO 15, launching this week, our questers were fortunate enough to get an early hands-on experience, as I had one available for community use.
Every attendee got the chance to check out the impressive flagship. There was a unanimous 'WoW' factor when it came to the camera—particularly the 3x 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, offering up to 10x zoom—the Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED Display, and the distinctive Monster Halo LED light around the rear camera module.
I'm thrilled the questers had this opportunity to experience the flagship device in person.
Every quester who attended the event received an iQOO-branded T-shirt, a very stylish one featuring the letter ‘Q’. I personally love the design, as I already have one from my welcome kit . All questers were happy to receive it.
And how could we leave our winners without special prizes and a mention? Our winners from the Men's Doubles category, Aravind and Karna, and the Mixed Doubles category winners, Varun and Khrea, all received their special winning prizes, too.

After the matches concluded, we headed over to Haribhavanam, one of the best and highest-rated restaurants in the city, for lunch.
We shared a wonderful meal, had a lot of engaging discussions about tech, cinema, and cricket, and finished with a dessert that was a deadly combo: Gulab Jamun and Ice Cream. Every quester thoroughly enjoyed the lunch, and we got some quality time to connect.
My first and biggest thanks goes to the iQOO Connect team - @parakram_h , @ParthNirmal and the VMI team for giving me the support and freedom to organize an event like this. Also, special mentions @ayuu for helping me in spreading the event stories on iQOO Community social media handles.
I'm truly grateful I was able to offer such a unique experience to my city's questers. And finally, thank you to every single person who made it to the event—some of you came from far outside the city, just for the sport and community meet-up. A huge thanks to you all for attending.
