When vivo and iQOO announced that OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 will be launched globally, ending the OriginOS / FuntouchOS divide, the brands also revealed a rollout timeline for existing devices.

For example, the iQOO 12 from 2023 was slated to get the OriginOS 6 update in mid-November. And it did in fact arrive then, but it wasn't the stable build - instead, it was a public beta which you could opt into from the phone's Settings.

Now the rollout of the stable version for international iQOO 12 units seems to have begun, as evidenced by the screenshot which you can see above.

So, if you've been sitting there from mid-November wondering where the OriginOS 6 update is, it's finally on its way.

The new build for with the model number I2220 is PD2307CF_EX_A_16.2.11.1.W20. The update brings with it the November 1, 2025 security patch level too.
