However, we are not aware of a start date for the upcoming esports tournament yet Registrations for Battleground Mobile India (BGMI)  tournament, Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 are set to go live on December 15, 2025.Krafton India esports official Instagram account shared a video on the social media platform, revealing that registrations for the tournament are going to start from December 15, 2025.Over on the official Krafton India esports website, BGIS 2026 is labelled as “coming soon”. The tournament is going to be open for all, but will also have invitees. The date from the tournament will start are yet to be announced along with the total teams and the location.

Grand Finals for BGIS 2025 were conducted in Kolkata, West Bengal from April 25 to April 27 and featured a prize pool of ₹3.2 crore. The tournament was won by Team Versatile who garnered 169 points and took home ₹69 lakh. At second place was GodLike Esports who received ₹37 lakh.A solo BGMI tournament was also conducted by Red Bull recently, called Red Bull Solo Legends. The national finals for the esports tournament were conducted at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai, with Harsh “Spraygod” Malik taking the top spot and earning a Red Bull racing “experience”.
