The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 came to a close on December 14. Alpha7 Esports from Brazil became the undisputed champions of the prestigious event. The renowned squad demonstrated outstanding performances throughout the Grand Finals to lift the trophy, marking the first time a Brazilian club clinched the Global Championship title.
A total of 40 teams competed in the PMGC 2025 for a whopping prize pool of $3 million. The event was held in four different phases: Gauntlet, Group Stage, LCQ, and Grand Finals. Vampire Esports from Thailand was invited directly to the final. Fifteen teams from the initial three stages were selected for the final.
Each stage of the Global Championship 2025 features a share of the total prize pool. Top from Alpha Gaming, who was the MVP of the Grand Finals, received a Porsche Cayenne car. Here is the prize pool distribution:
ULF from Turkey emerged as the runner-up of the PMGC 2025. The squad clinched four Chicken Dinners, the most by any team in the final.
Alpha Gaming from Mongolia claimed third position after their impressive performances.
ThunderTalk from China finished fourth in the event. Defending champions Dplus from South Korea ranked fifth after performing well on the final day of the PMGC. DRX and D’Xavier came sixth and seventh, respectively. Alter Ego and Regnum were eighth and 10th, respectively.
TOP from Alpha Gaming was crowned the PMGC 2025 MVP for his outstanding performance in the Grand Finals. With this achievement, he became the first player in PUBG Mobile history to win the PMGC MVP award twice, having previously won it in 2023. Along with the MVP title, TOP was also rewarded with a brand-new Porsche Cayenne, making his achievement even more special.

Popular clubs Weibo, Tianba, Reject, and Team Secret had a disappointing run in the PMGC 2025, as they failed to secure their spots in the Grand Finals. Indian teams Orangutan and True Rippers also had a poor run in the Global Championship, finishing 35th and 36th, respectively.
