Hi #iQOO Fans,
Now a days, everyone is stuck on their smartphones. And even though smartphones can help us be more productive and enhance the quality of our lives, they can also be a major source of distraction.
Apart from large benefits, it is becoming more and more obvious that we have no control over our smartphone use, which negatively impacts our productivity and mental health. Notifications keep distracting us and we are forced to use the phone again and again.
Today I would like to introduce Focus Mode, a part of the Android Digital Wellbeing features. The name says what it is all about, but in short, Focus Mode helps you maintain your focus by pausing distracting apps and their notifications on smartphones.
Focus Mode is a Digital Wellbeing feature that pauses distractive apps and notifications on your Android device, allowing you to get things done. It runs similarly to Do Not Disturb, but is more about stopping visual triggers that divert your attention.
Whenever you enable Focus Mode, any apps you add to your distraction list will appear greyed out. You also won't receive notifications from those apps until you disable the feature. Despite that, Focus Mode does not entirely restrict you from using apps you choose to pause. You can always Take a Break for a few minutes or disable Focus Mode at any time.
1. Open the Settings menu on your iQOO phone.
2. Scroll to the bottom and select Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls > Focus Mode.
3. Select which apps you want to disable during Focus Mode, such as Instagram and WhatsApp. You can't block apps such as Phone, Play Store, Settings, etc.
4. We can also set a schedule to auto-activate on a schedule. Selecting a start and end time, we also want Focus Mode to turn on automatically.
5. Tap Turn on now to activate Focus mode.
6. Focus Mode is now active.
🎯 Focus Mode also has a feature that if we need a temporary break, you can use the Take a break option. We can temporarily unpause apps when Focus mode is on, tap Take a break, and choose a break time limit like 5, 15, or 30 minutes.
🎯 We can also add Focus Mode in the Quick Settings. So we can turn on Focus Mode by simply tapping the tile from the Quick Settings.
👉 Focus Mode is an excellent feature for keeping distractions from phones away and is an incredible tool to stop procrastination when engaging in other activities.
Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls also assist in identifying the apps that distract the most, as well as the usage time of each app and its notification counts.
I hope this thread was informative. I'll catch you soon with another topic. Do share your thoughts below in the comments section.
