It is clear that Origin OS 6 for iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10R will not be released before the first week of January 2026. Realistically, it may arrive only after the second week. Even then, full rollout to all iQOO Neo 10 users may take until the end of January. iQOO’s update policy for mid-range devices is very poor, and users are forced to wait without transparency. I have been messaging them daily on WhatsApp and Instagram from December 15 till now, with no useful response. The worst part is that even their executives do not seem to know when the update will actually be released.

There has been no official beta feedback report, no changelog updates, and no public communication explaining the delay. Security patches are also falling behind, which raises concerns about long-term support. Competing brands in the same price segment have already rolled out Android 15–based updates, while iQOO Neo-series users are still waiting without clarity. The lack of transparency, inconsistent promises, and absence of a public rollout plan clearly show that Neo-series devices are not being treated as a priority despite being relatively new models.
