Hey Questers,

The Private Safe (often referred to as Private Space) in the newly released OriginOS 6 is a significant upgrade for iQOO users. Built on the foundation of Android 16, it moves beyond a simple hidden folder into a fully isolated, encrypted environment.

Isolated Environment 🛡️

Unlike standard "hidden albums," the Private Safe in OriginOS 6 acts like a separate phone environment. It is a fully encrypted vault where your sensitive files, photos, and even entire apps stay isolated from the main system. Without your explicit permission (biometrics or pin), nothing gets in or out.

Seamless Entry Gestures 👆

Vivo has made accessing your private data more intuitive. You can now enter the Private Space by swiping left on the dock of the Home Screen. This "hidden-in-plain-sight" entry makes it easy for you to reach but invisible to anyone just glancing at your phone.

The CHAD Framework 🔒

OriginOS 6 introduces the CHAD full-stack AI security framework. This isn't just software; it covers the:

  • Chip layer (hardware encryption)
  • Device layer
  • Cloud layer
  • Model layer (for AI-related data) This ensures that even on-device AI features, like real-time translation or photo searching, process your private data locally without it ever leaving your device.

App Dual Instances 👥

One of the best "Safe" features is the ability to run dual instances. You can have your public social media on your main home screen and a completely separate, encrypted version of the same app inside the Private Space. Notifications for these apps can be set to be completely silent or disguised to maintain total stealth.

Enhanced File Management (DocMaster) 📂

The Private Safe integrates with the new Vivo DocMaster. You can move sensitive PDFs, Word docs, or presentations into the safe, edit them with AI summarization tools, and export them—all while remaining within the encrypted bubble.

Zero Data Collection Promise 🚫

With OriginOS 6, Vivo has emphasized Data Minimization. The system is designed so that apps only take the bare minimum they need to function. When files are stored in the Private Safe, they are invisible to third-party app scanners, protecting you from data-hungry trackers.

Would you like me to walk you through the steps to set up a private password or hide specific apps in the new OS?

Thanks
