“21 Kilometres, One Dream — Finally Done! Kolkata Half Marathon 🥹”

Hey Questers! 👋I am Manab, and today I want to share my complete half-marathon journey with you. 🏃‍♂️This was my first-ever half marathon, the Tridhara Marathon – 21KM, and honestly, it was beautifully managed and absolutely amazing 🤩. From the crowd energy to the smooth arrangements, everything made this run extra special.

So here’s the full recap of my 21KM journey — the struggles, the motivation, and the proud finish.

4:00 AM Reached the Venue Before Sunrise For The Marathon 🏃

After submitting my bag at the baggage counter, I was fully ready for the marathon. The arrangements were smooth, and the Kolkata Marathon team was all set too everything felt perfectly in place.

Finally, It’s Time: The 21KM Journey Begins”

It felt really motivating to see so many people turning up early in the morning, all coming together to run for a good cause. The energy was amazing, and it truly felt special to witness this spirit among the people of Kolkata.”

21KM Through Streets, Bridges & Festive Vibes”

Finally, I started my marathon run running through bridges and streets filled with Christmas vibes. The atmosphere, lights, and crowd energy made the whole run feel extra special and unforgettable.

First 8KM Completed — Energy Boost Time”

“They provided refreshments at every 2KM, and the management was really well done. We got oranges, glucose water, and even Red Bull to keep our energy and speed up. Honestly, completing the first 8KM didn’t feel like a big deal for me I knew there were still 13KM more to go.”


“Halfway Done — Time to Push for the Rest 💪”

Half of the miles were done, and it was time to tackle the rest. I grabbed some chocolate for a quick energy boost  and wow, it really worked! Chocolates are my secret power during long runs. 🍫💪”

It was truly inspiring to see older participants running with the same intensity and energy — their dedication gave me so much motivation. Big thanks to the Kolkata Police as well, who ensured our safety and made the marathon run so smoothly.”


Last 3KM — Pure Excitement & Energy 💪”

Finally, only 3KM left! To push through faster, I grabbed some biscuits and chocolate again. I was completely exhausted, but the motivation to finish kept me going no matter what.”


“21KM Done — Best Feeling of My Life! 🏅🥹”

Finally completed my first 21KM! 🏅 The medal feels amazing, and the achievement even more special since it’s my first time. On top of that, we got refreshments and some really tasty snacks — the perfect celebration after the run!”

“Feeling on top of the world! All those early morning gym grinds and training really paid off. Completing this 21KM half marathon is a huge achievement for me, and I know this is just the beginning — next stop, a full marathon! 💪”

I know it took me quite some time to finish, but I promise to train harder and aim for a better time in the future. This whole journey was incredible, and I’m really grateful to the marathon organizers for managing everything so well, and to the Kolkata Police for keeping us safe. The Tridhara 21KM Marathon of Kolkata was truly my best exercise experience signing off for now, see you next year!”
