Last week, my iQOO Neo 10 received the OriginOS 6 update, and it honestly felt like a fresh new phone afterward. The update brought noticeable changes not just in looks, but also in overall smoothness and daily usability.

Visual Makeover & UI Redesign

One of the first things you notice after updating is the redesigned interface — it feels cleaner, more modern, and more refined:

New Home Screen & Widgets: The home screen has been reimagined with richer customisation options and new dynamic widgets that you can resize and move around with ease.

Lock Screen Enhancements: The lock screen now supports more customisation, including dynamic layouts and interactive elements.

One of my favourite noticeable improvements is in how the OS feels under the finger:

Smart Shortcuts & AI Enhancements — There are suggestions based on usage patterns, which makes frequent tasks a little faster.

This makes everyday interactions — like toggling Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or changing brightness — feel easier and more intuitive.

AI & Intelligent Features

While the update is first and foremost a UI and system overhaul, it also comes with AI-focused improvements:

AI-Driven Optimisations: Predictive text and smart suggestions now feel more integrated across the system.

Photo & Battery Enhancements: There are hints of AI helping with battery optimisation and camera tweaks

After the update, the phone feels quicker overall:
